Canadian Paragliding Exam Study Guide
For experienced pilots who are getting their Canadian ratings. Every topic the HPAC P2, P3 and P4 exams and the Transport Canada HAGAR exam can ask about.
How to use this guide
- Start with Module 00. It teaches how Canadian exam questions are written, and the English words that trick people.
- For the HPAC exams, understand the ideas. Read Modules 01 to 10 in order. Read the text, look at every Key numbers box, then do Check yourself at the end.
- For the HAGAR, learn the answers. Modules 11 to 13 are written as question and answer, because much of that exam has little to do with paragliding.
- Repeat the flashcards every day. Some facts are only numbers. Five minutes a day is enough.
- Before an exam, do a practice exam. It shows which module to read again.

Which modules for which exam
Suggested order: P2 → HAGAR → P3 → P4. The HAGAR is needed before the P3.
